Wedding of Deception - Ch. 4: First Morning
The next morning started out like any other in the Equestrian capital at least, to everypony except for the two imposters now settling into their roles.
As Celestia's sun rose in the sky the next morning, the denizens of Canterlot began to awaken, unaware that there were two within their midst who were not what they seemed to be.
Chrysalis was the first of the disguised pair to greet the new day, squinting slightly at the light that shone brightly through her no, Cadance's window. She groaned, turning on her side to face away from the light. Even though she woke every morning in the torch-lit chamber of her Hive

Wedding of Deception - Ch. 3: Observation
Several days passed as the anticipated celebration drew ever closer, with both the citizens of Equestria and Zakelon who had heard the news eagerly making preparations. With now less than a week to go before the big wedding day, the city of Canterlot was bustling with activity, ponies hurrying this way and that to collect everything they'd need for when the wedding was to be held in four days time.
And nopony in the country's capital suspected that some uninvited guests would be in attendance, or the heinous deception that would soon come to take place.
But for the moment, everything was going perfectly for the soon-to-be-wed cou

Wedding of Deception - Ch. 2: Two Lives Diverged
As the two separate groups of changelings flew off from Canterlot, green flames quickly encircled each one as they took on the forms of pegasi. Better to arouse less suspicion as long as they could. With their disguises no in place, the seven sped off beyond the boundaries of Equestria, each intent on getting to their respective Hives as fast as possible. They flew over largely populated areas and the few scattered towns on the outskirts, only resuming their true form as they drew closer to their landing-place, far off the Equestrian border.
Though the ultimate destination of each of the small swarms was diff

"Well, well, well... it seems that things are about to change around here."
There are, of course, many changes in a pony's life. Sometimes it's a day-to-day difference like that of the weather, and sometimes it's a big change which leaves a lasting impact on a pony's life.
There are many events like these which have importance - weddings, births, holidays, causes of celebration and good tidings. And along with the importance of these events comes others bringing it up as their topic of current discussion.
The speaker was talking about a major event such as this - a wedding. And not just a wedding of two ordinary ponies, but a grand unio

Petra let out a soft sigh as she sat in her bedroom, looking out of the window as she looked at the sky. There was nothing for her to do right now - sure the weather outside was lovely for once, but with nothing to do, there seemed to be little to no point of heading out.
"So BORED..." She groaned, tapping impatiently against the nearby wall. "Come on, there has to be something interesting to do... something that'll be a fun change of pace... but what can be done? Ohhhh..." She sighed again, falling back onto her bed, crossing her arms. "Come on! I'd give anything to change this boring life of mine!"
'Anything?', a cold, disjointed voice ca

Talks of an uprising had been going throughout the tiny civilization of the changelings while there queen was making her way back to the oasis where every last one of the changelings lived. The prosperous, bug-like creatures had thrived in their oasis for centuries, only leaving a couple of times a week for their necessary feedings. The changelings hadn't eaten enough in Equestria, and blamed their queen for her horrible judgement and planning. All of the changelings had been accounted for by the time Chrysalis had made her way back to their oasis some two days later. Cadence's love blast had led to th

Morthpous's neck cracked as some pieces of the bark skin fell off. Revealing some of his light brown coat, fitting for the summer season. He looked out the window the light of the summer noon shined in. The door creaked slightly revealing Luna.
"Morning uncle." she chimed happily.
"Good morning Luna. Sleep well?" Morthpous gave a warm smile as a piece of bark hit the floor.
"I slept well uncle. Are you coming to eat with me and tia?"
"I will be right there my dear."
Luna gave Morthpous a brief nuzzle, before she left for the dining room. The walk down the hallways to the dinin

It was a nice and peaceful day in Equestria. Cheerilee had taken her class to the Canterlot Sculpture Garden for a field trip. She showed her class all the known statues in the garden and told them what they each represented. The Cutie Mark Crusaders, which consisted of a yellow earth pony with a red mane and tail and a big red ribbon in her mane, in Apple Bloom, a white unicorn with a purple and pink mane and tail, in Sweetie Belle, and a light orange pegasus with a reddish-pink mane and tail, in Scootaloo, had gotten into a couple of arguments with each other after they had seen a few of the statues and wondered how cool it would be to have
The rocks continued to fall and Discord desperately ignited his talon in a vibrant, golden glow, the magic illuminating the outlines of the falling rocks as he tried to dodge the deadly projectiles and scream for his sister at the same time.
After what seemed like forever, the rocks ceased their rolling and all fell silent. There was nothing but two walls of fallen boulders on either side of Discord. The spirit desperately rammed himself against them.
"LUNA! LUNA! LUNA! LUNA, CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" Other than the sound of dripping stalactites, silence was all that greeted the spirit in return. With a distressed whine, Discord

He Who Watches
Camp had been set up for the night, and Twilight Sparkle was busy taking notes about her wings. They were certainly peculiar - they completely lacked any real nerves, tendons, or muscles, and yet they felt... alive. She could feel every little twitch and touch, and though such a sensation normally would have drove her crazy, the spell itself would only last for three days before dissipating. As much as she had enjoyed being able to truly fly, the unicorn was somewhat looking forward to just going back to her old self.
"Hey Twi?" The earth pony glanced over at her companion, who had set her quill down in order to look back. "S
